VINTAGE LOUIS VUITTON PHOTO ALBUM

Authentic First Generation Louis Vuitton Photo Album, from the Early 1970’s. An extremely rare piece as it was Discontinued in the mid 1980s. The first generation and was made in France, notably using smaller font than its latter years; you can find the the logo imprinted on the interior cover. Album is made with a Chocolate and tan coated canvas, production was moved to Spain in 1980 and later discontinued, however this piece was still made in France. This beautiful example of the Louis Vuitton Monogram photo album book includes 20 photo sheets, leather lining and pull-through closure. This Album holds twenty 3-1/2” x 5” dimensional photos. This album was found in near mint condition sitting by its lonesome, unfortunately one can only wish to know the story. Was it the only purchase of a Louis Vuitton by the original owner, kept it in pristine condition because of their memory? Was it purchased and left sitting in a drawer only waiting to be filled with memories despite being forgotten?
