VINTAGE ITALIAN BROWN WOOD HANDLED TRAY WITH ACANTHUS LEAF & SCROLL DECORATION

Vintage (mid century) Italian dark wood serving tray with acanthus leaf decoration. Open handles on the side. The sticker on back says: "Made of wood. Hand crafted in Italy." The wood itself is a lighter color that shows through in some places. It looks to be finished with a darker stain. It's not peeling - I think this finish wasn't applied to be completely opaque. There are scratches on both sides. There are a few tiny nicks. See photos for details. Surprisingly lightweight! In good preowned condition. 22" long x 17.5" wide x 1.25" high
