VINTAGE HERMES BEIGE LIZZARD FLAP BAG

VINTAGE HERMES CREME LIZZARD FLAP BAG Dates back to the late 60's. Creme lizzard skin flap bag with a gold upside down ribbon look closure, cream leather interior, 2 separate compartments, one side has a snap closure pouch the other side 2 small pockets and one slim pocket, hand strap has gold hardware attachment. The bag does expand and I tried to capture it in my pic. The interior has a tiny red mark on one side and on the other right under the snap pocket a slight discoloration. The exterior skin has discoloration and has a yellow ting to it. There is a black mark right where the clasp rubs the bag. Think this is due to hardware. This belonged to my Mother and none of us are smokers and it was stored in the dust bag pictured which you will receive. Might be due to age and may just need a good cleaning to restore color. You can see in the 6th pic where the flap covered the skin the difference in color. Other than the discoloration the bag is in excellent condition, no scratches, peeling, stains. My Mother and I both worked for the VP of Hermes back in the day so not sure if this was an exclusive for Bloomingdale's or not or if my Mom just used the dust bag as protection for storage. I was the inventory controller and we often made exclusive items sold at Federated stores. I simply cannot remember if this was the case with this bag. MEASUREMENTS: length 9 3/4", height 5 1/2", width 2" but expands , strap length 6 1/2".
