VINTAGE HAT 60s THERESE AHRENS Straw Hat Sun Beach Hiking Resort Travel Gold

Statement hat. 1 owner- my mom. Made in Ecuador. Tag- THERESE AHRENS NEW YORK. Straw is soft and has gold coins dangling on brim. Gros grain coral colored ribbon at brim. There are no tears or flaws but the fine straw, perhaps raffia, is delicate. One of the photos points out a delicate area where the straw is fragile ( I think you could reinforce that spot with a bit of tape underside if need be).Hole circumference = 21". Brim itself is out 3" and has 24 lightweight pressed metal coins with heads. Hat height at head is about 3.75 high. There is one small spot on the ribbon that probably can be cleaned (but the ribbon is attached to the hat).This will be shipped carefully. This was measured carefully.
