The visible irregularities in the stitching (slight variation in tension, natural texture) are strong signs of hand knitting. Toggle style front with large buttons and rope ties is inspired by duffle coats, giving it a nautical or rustic look. The trim and front placket are done in a seed stitch (moss stitch), while the body uses stockinette stitch. The collar is a rib-knit mock neck.
