VINTAGE GUATAMALAN embroidered SKIRT 40's 50's XS

Turquoise (more green than blue) handwoven cotton weave skirt, with white embroidery. Late 1940's/early 50's era, with button waist and snap closure. There are also hook/eyes on the waist, one eye is broken, but the button is enough to stay closed. Fits XS, the waist is a tight 25" (boy, am I "sucking it in" for the picture, I'm more comfortable in a 26"). No stretch. 28.25" long. The top seen in the pictures is made from a vintage tablecloth, and is listed separately. The last picture was taken in 1954 by German photographer Heinrich Heidersberger, of a woman wearing a very similar skirt! (A8)
