This beautiful piece is 925 sterling marked.. I was told it was from the 50s.. it's approx. 7 1/4 end to end.. I'm not sure if the black is obsidian or onyx.. but it's wonderfully detailed..linked.. With a slide closure..Some spots.. needs a good cleaning... ****I was told this is not true silver but a different metal. I do know the original owner said 1950s on the age of it. Alpaca metal alloy.

anticulture Hi, I don't want to be a debbie downer but as a jeweler who collects mexican sterling, this was one of those tourist trap bracelets, that during the time were stamped, and mislabeled. It was rude of MEX not to stop their proliferation .. just check it with a silver tester or go to a local jeweler, particularly collectors will want to know.

anticulture Im pretty sure the material is a silver alloy, its called alpaca.. the only reason I know this is because I collect silver and have tested hundreds of this style.. only if there is a name like Parra, or a real Eagle stamp, will it be real silver.
