VINTAGE BLACK BEADED EVENING JACKET

I have tried so many times to capture the beauty of this jet black beaded evening jacket. It is beyond my capability to make these pictures as black as this jacket. It has a hook, and I closure all the way down the inside of the jacket, and those are hidden. This is not just beaded, but the beads are in a modern art pattern. The jacket is beaded on 100% silk. Lawrence Kazar was a well-known maker of sparkling, beaded evening wear. (See a little AI history in the photos). It is in pristine condition and would look beautiful over satin pants or cigarette pants and it moves so beautifully and is very comfortable. Which is one reason why I have kept it for decades. Measurements: shoulder to shoulder is 16 with a very small padded shoulder pad. Armpits are about 17, and the length is 26. You can wear it open or fastened and both looks are beautiful. Even though it is vintage, it has a very contemporary feel about it. Made in India.
