Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. The Beau Sterling line was produced by Beaucraft Inc., a company that operated in Providence, Rhode Island, from 1947 until it closed in 2004. The brooch features a fluted, textured design that gives it a three-dimensional, highly reflective appearance. It has a working roll-over hinged pin clasp.
