VINTAGE 1990s EMILIA CASTILLO MEXICAN SILVER PLATE GLASSES GOBLETS GREEN LIZARDS

These glasses were purchased in Taxco, Mexico, at the artist's studio in the 1990's. One owner. By famed Mexican artist Emilia Castillo, we have a set of 6 (six) wine goblets made of hammered copper then plated in silver. The surface is dimpled texture, shiny finish, interiors have a satin finish. On each of the glasses is a 3-D sculptural lizard "climbing" the stem, complete with green turquoise (?) stone inlay. Broad and sturdy foot. Marked on the bottom "EMILIA CASTILLO M. R." and 10-85. Since each goblet is hand crafted, not from a mold, there is slight variance to measurements. Roughly 6 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide. Stem is about 2 1/2 inches tall. Each has nice substantial weight of about 260g. These have never been used as drinking vessels, only displayed as art pieces. They do show patina due to age. I have polished them a bit by hand, but if you wish to buff them completely I'll leave that up to you. No nicks, scratches, or stone loss. My home is smoke free.
