Museum-worthy vintage 60s VIVID Hanae Mori dress. Likely an early Japanese market version. Gorgeous mid-mod classic 60s ponte shift dress with orange, pink, and black floral pattern and decorative flower buttons. No size or fabric tags. Measurements: Across bust: 16.5" Across waist: 15.5" Across hips: 17.5" Length: 36" Condition: Excellent. A bit of the lining is slightly separated near the zipper (shown in the last photo). This does not affect the wear of the dress at all. Hanae Mori is one of only two Japanese women to have presented her collections on the runways of Paris and New York. She was the first Asian woman to be admitted as an official haute couture design house by the federation franchise de la couture in France. Her fashion house opened in Japan in 1951.
