VINTAGE 1940s Beaver Fur Wool Kraeler Coat Women’s Medium Brown Bakelite Jacket

This is an extremely rare 1940’s curly lambs wool coat with beaver fur lapel. It’s rare to find a coat in such good condition. Years ago I worked at a high end vintage clothing store and purchased it then. I replaced the missing Bakelite bead with one that matched as best as I could find at the time. The coat is perfection. The fur is perfectly in tact - no stains or snags or wearing of any kind. It was kept in storage for its entire life I think. No moth holes! Please ask me questions if you have them. This is a really special piece and I cannot emphasize how soft this beaver fur is. I’m a true women’s size medium - so please see images for sizing. It does have a boxy or “oversized” style, tho the cuffs size and length are good for a slender wrist.
