1940s Vintage Biltrite Nuron Heels & Soles Embossed Graphic Tin Advertising Thermometer Sign by Robertson Sign Co. U.S.A. This 1940’s era thermometer is an advertisement for the BILTRITE SHOE COMPANY and features a stamped metal tin design of a raised shoe and heel. The sole of a shoe has the slogan: WE REBUILD LIKE NEW! BILTRITE HEELS & SOLES. There is a picture of a shoe cobbler on the heel with Biltrite Nuron, Biltrite Will Not Slip, and on each side of the thermometer are the words Biltrite - Nuron. It is metal and measures 13 1/2" x 5 3/4". It is marked on the bottom- Made in USA.
