Cult fave, swooning again over this rare & gorgeous Art Deco era Teacup & saucer. (For display purposes, it’s sitting on top of a hand painted Limoges dinner plate, not included). In the Calvados pattern, heavy rich embossed raised gold design, on an ivory background, total Luxury. Made by Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot (GDA) of the Limoges region of France. Back stamp markings: GDA France, Ch. Haviland Limoges. Antique item. Imported from France. GDA dates this between 1900 - 1941. Imagine how elevated one must have felt being served off of such fine accoutrements during The Great Depression, crazy huh?! This piece is in Very Good Condition, nearly flawless except for a small chip on the saucer edge- it looks like the previous owner may have touched it up.
