This Ludlow wingtop oxford is our version of a bench-made dress shoe...constructed using the same methods as some of the world's best shoemakers. With the aim of creating the foundation for any black-tie Ludlow look, our designers spared no detail on these classic oxfords. From a supple, leather lining and brogued wingtip detailing to a hint of pinking (aka a zigzagged edge) on the cap toe, this oxford is carefully considered down to the last detail. Fun fact: Cap toe oxfords are sometimes called balmorals, a name derived from Scotland's Balmoral Castle, where legend has it that Prince Albert invented the style, which would later evolve into the dress shoe we know today.
