Vans and The Museum of Modern Art collaborated on a footwear and apparel collection highlighting works by celebrated artists from their collection. These MoMA and Vans sneakers feature details from one of Dalí’s best-known paintings, The Persistence of Memory (1931), interpreted on the panels of the Vans Old Skool Twist. A new style for Vans, the Old Skool Twist is a spin on the classic Old Skool silhouette, featuring off-kilter lacing. The wavy side stripe pays homage to the surreal aspects of Dalí’s artwork.  Features of the MoMA and Vans Salvador Dalí Old Skool Twist Sneakers include: Sturdy canvas and suede uppers. Re-enforced toe caps. Padded collars. Signature rubber waffle outsoles. Produced in limited quantities. (No longer available in stores - sold out 2020.)
