This Tee is definitely better in real life; I did my best to capture how dope this shirt really is. It’s good but it didn’t do full justice. I would NEVER prefer the new version of this shirt over how it is now; it’s just so sick as it is right now. In general, I never buy new clothes; I always shop second hand for this very reason. There are some items I like new, but, for the most part, I like clothes with character flaws in them. The whole Vans and skate vibe is like “rip it,” wear it out, get a stain on it, skid out on it; like a fine wine the aging just gives more character to the clothing. That’s one reason why people like vintage. This item is straight up, punk rock! Do you get me? The colors are such a classic Cali style, meaning it just evokes water and the ocean, which is such a huge part of California culture along with surfing and skating, and the fact that it is worn out and faded with a little paint stain on it just makes it like grimy, grungy, punk rock streetwear. The statement is that whoever is wearing this does represent Cali but is more from the streets of Cali and not the country club. It’s straight up casual streetwear, and, if styled correctly; a little piece of organic art. The shirt is in excellent sturdy condition; it’s gloriously faded and will outlast your use.
