Utah Septarian Geode Carved Zuni Style Bear Figure

Formed in the age of the dinosaurs during the Cretaceous Period which began approximately 145 million years ago and ended 66 million years ago, this Utah Septarian geode is stunning! Beautiful hues of yellow, brown and gray with sparkling yellow calcite crystals in the hollow cavity, this carved and polished in the image of a Zuni style bear figure is in excellent preowned condition. The approximate dimensions are 6 1/4 inches long, 4 1/2 inches tall, 1 1/2 inches thick, and weighs an impressive 2 pounds. An amazing discovery, as shown in the last photo, this object of art glows brightly under a long wavelength UV light!
