It's true as a buyer you need to be careful but seller's are getting scammed big time. The is a ton of buyers opening item not as described disputes in order to return something after they have worn and damaged the item. I keep log of ever step and see a huge difference in the photos of a damaged I sent someone. It's so sad because poshmark is such a great side hustle but you have to be careful. We need to have better protection in the selling process.

charlotteretro @pbjfox Happened to me. Buyer purchased earrings for $100 and swapped one out for one of her own before filing “item not as described”. Hers earring had a stone missing. Mine didnt. @pmeditor didnt allow me to upload the video of the earrings before I packed and shipped and sided w her. Now I have to go to BBB as I am a consignor and have to pay my consignee.

imisstoni2 @lesdaliphants Poshmark currenty only cares about buyers it does not take time to review all information or take everything into account. They need sellers as much as buyers and are destroying credability with the people who are wanting to work with them. They need to do better

brilldelights @imisstoni2 so....I had that happen to me once about 9 months ago, it was over a pair of Crocs clogs. She said they were all scratched blah blah. BNWT and plastic that attached the shoes when she received them, yet in her case photos (she opened the case with 2 hrs to spare) there was no sign of ANY of my “very BRILLIANTDELIGHTS specific” wrapping, the box....even the plastic that attached them was ....

brilldelights @imisstoni2 ...no where in sight. I made this mistake SO DONT ANY OF YOU DO IT (I was so lucky 🍀) of saying something to the affect of “I’m sorry you’re unhappy, I have pics of them and they are brand new, and when posh asked if I wanted the item back the way I responded sounded like I was accepting the return. SHE NEVER SENT THEM AND I WAS PAID THANKFULLY!!

imisstoni2 @brilldelights I took pictures and everything unfortunatly posh didnt listen. I always kept record, it soured me towards selling on posh I took a break from it. I can tell you I had a gut feeling about this buyer and didnt listen to my gut. I will never do that agian! 🤔 but it was over a year ago. Im sure she got hers so its good.

brilldelights @imisstoni2 omg I can’t believe you mentioned the “gut feeling”...I learned my lesson with that too! Female intuition is legit 💯 real. I never go against it now ....if I have a bad feeling going forward and an opportunity to cancel a sale I’ll do it !! We deal with a lot and until another regular seller wrote this out for me I didn’t even realize how much were doing ....

brilldelights @imisstoni2 ....she said “think about this....they’re not doing ANYTHING for us, not pm not the buyer. We are sourcing (time +money), staging, photographing, describing, listing....then there’s sharing, offers, negotiations, comments, sales, packing, thank you cards, shipping. It’s WAY more then just blip blip blop”. It’s a lot to look at right??!! To lose money? No way Jose !!!
