This is a vintage hand-blown uranium "lime" green glass pitcher made by the Kanawha Glass Company. This specific design is a commemorative piece, honoring the American bald eagle and the original 13 colonies, featuring stars above and below the eagle emblem. The pitcher was likely produced around the mid 1970s, coinciding with the American Bicentennial. The glass has a textured optic finish and a ruffled rim. Kanawha Glass Company was one of several West Virginia glass manufacturers known for producing distinctive, colorful, hand-blown glass items. Some companies, like Kanawha Glass, continued to make uranium glass into the 1970s. Approximate measurements are 6-1/4" tall x 4-5/8" wide from handle to spout. No damage that I can find. It's beautiful both glowing and in its natural state without UV light. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
