Upcycled free people plaid patched woodland fairy witch / faerie nymph skirt

I upcycled a pair of free people shorts into a midi - maxi skirt using a plaid shirt. The shirt has been dyed, the color is intentionally a bit uneven. This has a fringing and fraying, tattered look. The patches give it a very fairy witch / woodland faerie vibe. Waist measures 14.5”, hip is 17-18”, length is 30”-32”. This shorts were a very oversized 24. I wear a 24-26, and this is too big for me. Would fit a small to medium best. This 100% cotton, no stretch
