This is an upcycled shirt/jacket, meaning it was previously owned/preloved. Purchasing upcycled clothing is beneficial to our planet in that it minimizes the amount of discarded materials sent to our landfills and reduces the need for production using new or raw materials. All clothing is washed first thing upon bringing it to my home. My bleaching/distressing process includes neutralizing the bleached area afterwards, rinsing in soapy water, and then machine washing and drying. All items are made in a nonsmoking home. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: This shirt was painted with acrylic paint. It is fully machine washable on gentle cycle in cold water and can be put in dryer on tumble dry. However, I would recommend to hang dry. DO NOT iron directly on the painted area.
