Purchasing upcycled clothing is beneficial to our planet in that it minimizes the amount of discarded materials sent to our landfills and reduces the need for production using new or raw materials. All clothing is washed first thing upon bringing it to my home. My bleaching/distressing process includes neutralizing the bleached area afterwards, rinsing in soapy water, and then machine washing and drying. I make repairs and replace buttons as needed.
