Untamed Petals Uptown Sparkly Mini Party Dress - ALTERED

Beautiful beaded strapless mini with a sassy skirt you can dance the night away in! Zipper closure with hook and eye. The dress that got away for me! Based on my measurements, I ordered this in a 6 and had lost a bit of weight by the time it arrived. Enter my alterations nightmare… My chest never filled out the top, so the seamstress suggested she sew in pads (on top of the existing pads) and they were wayyyy too much — I hated the way they made me look/feel, as I didn’t feel like myself. (I’ve since removed them, so the dress is back to its baseline in the chest.) Then on my wedding night when it was time to change into my party dress, the zipper was somehow stuck and we ripped the dress a tiny bit trying to get it zipped up. THANK GOD I had a backup for the after-after party and wore that instead — let that be your lesson. 🫠 MY SUGGESTION: someone who is smaller than me (2/4/6) should buy and take it to your tailor for a custom fit! I’ve taken pictures of the slight tear in fabric that can be easily sewn and repaired, as well as where the dress was taken in. I’m no seamstress, but I think it would be easy to let it back out.
