Universal Potteries Blue Bell Salt & Pepper Shakers and Circus Pattern Bowl

The Blue Bell pattern salt and pepper shakers do have a few age spots and the set is missing one cork. The remaining cork does show age flaking and crumbling. The Circus pattern bowl is a refrigerator dish bottom with no lid. It has the Universal Potteries stamp on the bottom that is worn and mostly unreadable. This bowl is in very good condition and the flowers are crisp and do not show wear. Not sure why this flower patterned line was called circus, but that seems to be the name it is listed under. Universal Potteries, Inc was in business in Cambridge, Ohio from 1934 to 1954, so these could date from the 1930s! Shakers measure approximately 4 1/2” tall x 3” diameter The bowl/dish measures approximately 2” tall x 4 1/2” diameter. I use clean recycled packaging materials. Breakable items are usually double boxed to keep them safe on their journey to your home.
