Unisex Vintage Newsboy Wool Golf Hat, Gatsby Driving - Mens or Womens

This is really a men's vintage newsboy cap however it's really cute on women also, therefore unisex! (Lots of men's vintage coming in the next few months just in time for the holidays. Pure wool newsboy / golf / driving / Gatsby hat is retro gray heather with a unique stripe that looks like rows of tiny houndstooth (houndsteeth?). The stripes are black and a muted brown. There's a snap at the brim. Inside is quilted (one way to know it's an old one!) satin with a bit of fade. It has a Hatters Union label but they went from 1896 - 1983, so there's no help there as to dating. HOWEVER! The sweatband is vinyl, so that puts this anywhere from late 50s to late 60s. The quilted interior makes this a bit older too. Condition is fine (no moth holes! no smells)except for the slight ''crazing'' in the sweatband. This is not uncomfortable and the sweatband remains solid. 21 1/4'' around inside sweatband. Offers always welcome. So are counteroffers!
