Unique Vintage 70’s Red Floral Midi Sun Dress, Large,

Charming vintage vibrant red floral print midi dress with a classic, feminine silhouette. It has a square neckline and wide shoulder straps. The dress is fitted at the bodice and gathered at the waist, creating a full, A-line skirt that falls to about the knee. Beautiful floral border print along the bottom of the skirt includes intricate blossoms and branches in shades of blue, white, and green, adding a romantic, nature-inspired touch. Features: *1 in-seam pocket, on right side of dress *adjustable straps with buttons and three buttonholes *straps could possibly also be worn crossed in back *smocked across back of bodice Note the vintage tag says size 16 but I don’t know what that means in today’s sizing. Please see measurements. Approximate measurements: -19” armpit to armpit, with some extra ease thru bust -15” across waist -38” long (depending on how you adjust the straps) -32.5” across bottom hem of skirt Flaws (see final 2 pics): -the built-in, very 70’s-looking bra, is starting to degrade, but won’t show from the outside — or more likely, you’ll want to remove it. -the dress is about 50 years old and the smocking has probably lost some elasticity -there’s a small area of light discoloration over right bust.
