Unique Handmade Crocheted Afghan Sunbonnet Sue Childs Blanket Vintage 44 x 73

This bright and cheery childs quilt or throw is perfect for cuddling up to read bedtime stories. This handmade quilt has no damage and is intact. No wonky unstitched areas or holes that I can find. Each Sunbonnet Sue block is intact and they are all done in vibrant colors, which stand out against the black background. Whoever made this blanket chose her colors well and did a great job creating this piece! This completed blanket is unusual to come across (Ive only seen one for sale elsewhere, and that version had missing arms.) I could not believe my luck when I stumbled across this blanket at an auction and I was just so excited to bring it home with me after quickly going over it block by block to try to find damage and found none. The piece does not have "fuzzies" so it has not been used or abused or gone through excessive wash cycles. This handmade afghan may not have been made by you, but it could easily become a cherished family heirloom to pass down for many more years to a Grandmother, Mother, or Mother to be, small child and create cozy memories for generations. It would make a great baby shower gift for an expecting Mommy who loves to fill her home with vintage decor. It might also be a delightful surprise to gift an older person who lived in and loved the 70s and perhaps decorated their home with Sunbonnet Sue items.
