After +J, Uniqlo knew they had to bring out the big guns so the collaborated with Jun Takahashi and put out a couple of seasons of the greatest clothes they ever made, called UU (a moniker eventually stolen by the perfidious lemaire). These cargo pants were like a window into the undercover world, with design details that were mirroring the mainline's themes at that time: Militaria construction with extra details, like the drawstring/elastic waist with belt loops and buttons that wouldn't become de rigeur everywhere until five years later, or the reinforced seat that never really caught on to my cyclist dismay. It features "Baker" pockets and pleated cargo pockets before cargo pockets became not uncool again. They're half lined in a very pleasant poly. Love these pants. Wore them a LOT and the poky-wool blend shoes barely any wear. My quads and calves got to big so theyve been sitting in my closet because I don't want to sell but who am I kidding. People sell this stuff for like $100+ on eBay because they are profiteering scum but I would never do that to you, reader. Slim, but not skinny. Not in-style or out of style with respect to cut, but still on the slim side. Best for the average 32 who's never thought to complain about their thighs
