Unbranded matte black pair of Fleur di Lis bookends

Unbranded pair of matte black Fleur di Lis bookends. GUC. Only mark I could find is a scuff on the bottom of one. See last pic. Good weight. Not sure of the material. Feels like maybe wood? Not sure of the age as I picked these up at an estate sale years ago. Always got compliments. Changing out the living room decor now. As always from a pet free/smoke free home.
