Please refer to the LAST photo for further details. Also worth mentioning : the name Ann Zschau is German in origin, particularly in the regions of Saxony or Thuringia. Perhaps German American is a possibility. Unfortunately, this dress is without a size tag or fabric tag which is common with custom handmade pieces. The fabric has an impressive weave pattern of floral rose motifs giving it an almost 3D effect. Given that the material has a metallic shimmer and a raised pattern, I'm leaning more towards a brocade weave than a jacquard weave. Especially because the material is heavy and a bit stiff. I wish that I was able to definitively verify the type of material used to make this dress.
