Smooth zippers that open and close easily. These are well worn and well loved but still have a ton of mileage left. Since docs are so well made, they'll last a lifetime. These were my favorite shoes, but my shoe size changed over the past few years and they no longer fit me sadly. I'm devastated because you can't find these anywhere (if you know anyone who has these in a size 9, tell them to get ahold of me ASAP), but they're to cool to just sit in my closet when they don't fit.
