The squadron was reactivated in October 1966 at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia and equipped with Lockheed C-130 Hercules tactical transports. Then Redesignated 37th Tactical Airlift Squadron on 1 May 1967. And located at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, 1 October 1966 – 30 September 1977.
