UNCUT Burda 7399 sewing pattern for SEMI-FITTED VEST with TIE FRONT sizes 10-24. I don't know what year this was published. It's a very casual vest pattern with or without a collar and it ties in front. I like the way the bottom part of the vest flares out.. I also like the big armholes. The design is unique and I must say Burda Style has some of the most unique designs I have seen in commercial patterns. Burda Style suggests sewists make this vest out of linen and I agree that would be versatile and if you made it in a solid neutral color, as pictured, it would be timeless and you could wear it for years. The pattern only has around 6 pieces, but there is a lining, interfacing, and for some reason, batting, which I think may be for the view with the collar. A couple of darts at the side front help shape the top and the lower part of the vest has a bit of almost a peplum look, but not too ruffly. I love this pattern, but a gal can only have so many sewing patterns in her collection. I hope the buyer will enjoy this paper pattern for a vest with instructions in 3 languages, including English.
