UGG, men’s 9, brown leather and black rubber duck boots, flawed

Here’s the story: I didn’t inspect these close enough before purchasing. They look GREAT except for one glaring issue. There is a tear in the side/toe area of the left boot. Right boot is perfectly fine. I have sealed the tear with tire sealant and it seems to have done the job but I can’t guarantee anything. I have discounted it significantly because of this. But if the sealant fixes a hole in a tire, maybe it’ll hold a hole in a shoe? Size 9 men, 10.5-11 women No original receipt
