Two tiny antique brooches

Lot of two very tiny (and very old - 1950s if not older) bejeweled costume pins or brooches. Unsure of what the blue stones are on the square one, but they are not loose; I believe the stone on the round one is an amethyst; it is missing 3 seed pearls and some enamel has chipped off. Unsure if they're actually brooches; each are 1/2" wide. When they were found they were each pinned to narrow velvet chokers (not included, as they had broken clasps and the velvet was in really bad shape).
