Two Norwegian Miniature Boxes, Handcrafted Folk Art for Trinkets, Rings, Gifts

Lovely little vintage wooden boxes handcrafted in Norway. Each is handpainted with a different feel. The smaller of the two is the woman with a blue scarf and delightful tiny rosmaling all around the sides. It has minor wear around the edges of the lid. The larger and taller features a very different artist's painting of another young woman. There is a natural wood crack in the bottom, but it is solid and does not affect the box except esthetically. 2.75 x 1.75 2.5 x 1.5
