My mother in law and I are very careful handling them during assembly AND when taking them apart to avoid damage. There COULD be a few kitty hairs in the box, as our cats love to "help", but I try to keep them as clean as possible! No missing pieces at the time of assembly, but I always fear that one will escape somehow, lol... if you ever get a puzzle from me with missing pieces, I will do my best to make it right. Both are 1000 pc and 26.75" x19.75" If you are familiar with Buffalo Games puzzles, you'll know that they are high quality, with vibrant colors, and standard interlocking shapes, not the kind that have flat edges on pieces from the middle of the puzzle! They are challenging but not overwhelming, and they get great reviews! These are beautiful and artistic, with glitter accents! And just to make it a little more complicated, the poster does not show where the glitter is... only the small picture on the box does.
