Pier 1 Passports Vintage 80s/90s Dress

This dress has a European feel to me, and I believe it's vintage 80s/90s, but it's design looks like even then, it was vintage inspired... it has the look of a 40s/50s dress. It has a wide collar, trimmed in satin, and it buttons down the front like a shirt dress. Buttons are fabric covered. It probably had shoulder pads, originally, as there is a strip of Velcro where you'd place one. The fabric is exquisite! It is navy blue rayon, and it doesn't really look sheer, unless you are up close with light shining through it. See the last pic! It feels very luxurious.
