Two Beautiful PJ Rankin Hults Original Fraktur And Scherenschnitte Pictures

Pam’s original designs are blending the traditional 18th and 19th Pennsylvania German arts of Fraktur and Scherenschnitte, with a bit of whimsy. The artwork is a combination of scissor cutting, watercolor, pen and ink on hand dyed paper. The finished artwork is displayed in traditional grained frames, hand grain painted and waxed, by her husband John, in their Lititz, PA studio. These are absolutely beautiful and craftsmanship is stunning. They are signed and initialed in each picture and they have the original information on the back of each one. The tall flowers the frame measures 5.25 inches wide and 6.75 inches tall. The smaller flowers measure 5.25 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide. The frames are handmade by her husband. The only flaw I see is a small piece of paper missing from each sticker on the back. It does not affect the presentation of the pieces. What a beautiful addition to your home decor.
