For sale from my grandmother's house is a vintage floral tea cup without a matching saucer made by Tuscan Fine English Bone China, likely from the mid-20th century, featuring a burgundy flower pattern. The "Fine English Bone China" mark suggests it was made between 1947 and the mid-1960s. Tuscan china, especially with the burgundy flower, is popular among collectors. Such a steal when you compare it to eBay and other sellers! This has had one owner (my grandmother). It has only been hand washed as she did not have a dishwasher.
Brand: Tuscan, a brand of R H & S L Plant, later Royal Tuscan under the Wedgwood Group
Origin: Made in Longton Staffordshire, England.
Style: Burgundy floral pattern, possibly the "Lorraine" design, with hand-painted details and gilding.
Material: Fine English Bone China
Use: Ideal for coffee, tea, or other hot beverages
