Turbo Tiger Shell Vintage Penshell Box

Gorgeous brass hinged natural iridescent penshell box with a South African Turbo Sarmaticus Shell (Tiger Shell) on lid. The body of this gorgeous hinged box has shades of iridescent copper, champagne, and light brown penshell. All the way around it has a half inch mitered, angled border of brown, black, rust and ivory pearlized shell. The entire inside of the box including the bottom is lined in brown velvet. Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or missing pieces. What may appear to be chips in photos are just natural color variations. From Gumps San Francisco, it dates to the 1980s or 1990s.
