Truvelle completely won my heart when I discovered their wedding dresses. I was looking for a dress that was more bohemian, unconventional, effortless and modern and when I found that among the other typical dresses I knew it was for me. I chose the Alexandra style and custom-designed the bottom to feel more like my style. The top features a sexy yet simple plunging neckline, showcasing amazing hand beading and lace and double straps, and the most striking back. This dress was custom made.

lexwien @berkompasr Hi! Yes it is larger than I usually wear in normal dress sizes. I’m more of a 4. Who knew that wedding dress sizing was different? So yes, I would say a 6 is close to a 4 regularly. But also this dress is great because so many sizes could wear it based on how the back is constructed!

lexwien @cellender7 Hi! I just added a picture that shows the bottom - also you can see how ling it was on me! I wanted a sweeping affect but maybe now I think it was too long haha. I was wearing heels that were 3.25”. and YES, the corset part is absolutely adjustable!! Just tie it up how you wish.

cellender7 @lexwien beautiful! I know I’m asking a ton of questions but I’m really heavily considering buying a second hand wedding dress on the internet. Is there a train? How long? Are there bra cups (do you think it’d house 36C’s without being tight or spilling out)? reason I asked about the corset is I’m more of a street size 6/8. I’m not getting married for 14 months so I’ve got time to lose an inch or 2 but just want to know. I’ve got a tiny frame but gained a few pounds during Covid.

lexwien @cellender7 No worries at all! I totally totally get it and expect nothing less. And looking back - I wish I had done the same thing! There is no train, it is the same length all around. No bra cups as well. I have B cups, what I did is I got boob glue and glued myself into the perfect position. It was great and because of the corset, I felt super secure and tight.

lexwien @cellender7 (sorry got cut off) I think the corset would be great for your frame and there will probably be enough room for your size, but it depends on how you like it to hug you. Haha go you! I stress ate A LOT during the year up to my wedding (and now) so I get you!

lexwien @cellender7 No problem! So I just checked it and there was a small stain! I am going to take it to get dry cleaned right now and hopefully they can get it looking perfect again! I will let you know when I get it back and how it turns out and we can go from there! Thanks babe!

lexwien @hannahrw426624 Hi! Yes the stain did come out and it looks amazing. Been tucked away since I got it cleaned in an air tight bag. No drastic alterations, just shortened for my height which is 5’6”

lexwien @hannahrw426624 hmmm Im not sure about specifics at all, cause it was 5 years ago now! But it is a size 6 (and I can be a 4 in many dresses). What is great about this dress is how custom it is, the back is completely adjustable which helps sooo much! I am a 34B if that helps! Wear size 26/27 in jeans.
