True vintage Asian pajama set circa 1950s top, bottoms, robe, slippers, case

Glamorous, glorious, vivid golden yellow boxed/travel set from an elegant age. Chinese, Japanese, Korean? Came to me via England and has remained in box for decades. Yellow satin, more goldenrod, sunflower than lemon. Slippers trimmed in real fur (rabbit?), approx. size 8, see photos. One flaw - armpit of robe is unstitched, but a simple mend. Top has off-center mandarin collar, measures 20” across flat; bottoms are 24” unstretched but expand up to 32”. Case snaps shut for travel or storage.
