Does have nicks, scratches, etc. The antenna is slightly loose feeling at its base. I have not taken the half cover off(for fear of hurting the casing as it looks a bit dry rotted, etc), so I am unsure of the condition of underneath it or if it has a functional battery place or not. It is vintage, so there is a possibility it no longer works. Wiped shown surface down lightly with windex.
