True Religion Early 2000s Big Stitch Jeans Y2K

Authentic early-2000s True Religion “Big Stitch” jeans, purchased on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles circa 2005. Original retail was approximately $250. These feature a low rise, early Big Stitch construction — thicker, rope-like contrast stitching characteristic of True Religion’s early production, prior to later mass-market runs. Made from rigid denim with no stretch, with classic horseshoe flap pockets and period-correct hardware. Worn only a few times — I grew out of them quickly. Denim remains strong with excellent structure and minimal overall wear. There is a small seam opening along one leg seam (shown clearly in photos). This appears consistent with early construction seam stress or a factory stitch issue, not wear. There is no thinning, fraying, or surrounding damage. Easily repairable if desired. Priced accordingly and sold as-is.
