Troubadour then qualified for his first PBR World Finals, where he tied with Chicken on Chain for the Mikel Moreno Bull of the Finals award and was crowned the 2007 ABBI Classic Champion. In 2008, Troubadour came within a quarter-point of defeating Bones for the 2008 PBR World Championship. Troubadour was then named the 2008 Bull of the National Finals Rodeo with 48- and 48.5-point bull scores.
