Tropical Escape Googie 60s Cream Sky and Forest Green Graphic Printed Dress Sleeveless simple shaped vintage modest mini dress with complex visual pattern construction. Periwinkle/sky blue - gray and dark forest green floral and graphic pattern on top of cream white background with pattern constructed in rows. Front features a central shape to accent torso shape, darted bust and waistline exaggerated with graphic pattern and a simple pocket. Back is simple with back neck zipper. Rare, unique and one of a kind hand-made dress from 1960s with tropical, googie, folk, Hawaiian-inspired print with exotica, lush, late mid-century escapist fantasy vibes. Exterior has more canvas-like textured printed fabric, likely a cotton/natural blend and the interior is lined with a smoother fabric with a finer weave and smoother texture. Dress is handmade, with no label. Interior shows some of the quirks of its handmade construction, with some raw seams in the interior lining. Size: Approximately L - pit to pit is 19.5" - length is 38" - hips are 18.5" lying flat. Condition: Good vintage condition. Light and natural aging of material, interior of dress has some light soiling. Since it is handmade, it may not be perfectly symmetrical and there may be some slight quirks in the construction.
