It is a versatile device used for charging various types of batteries, typically for remote control (RC) model vehicles.  Designed to handle multiple battery chemistries: NiCd, NiMH, Lithium-Ion, and Lead-Acid. The charger operates on a 12-volt DC power source, making it suitable for use at RC airfields. It offers features such as adjustable charge/discharge currents, cycling capabilities (1-10 cycles), and a 10-cycle memory. The device includes a display screen and programming buttons for user control, along with safety features like reverse polarity protection and a safety timer 2. GWS MC2002 DC Charger for Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries used in RC models. This charger is designed for use with a 9V-15V DC input power source, such as a 12V car battery or a compatible AC-to-DC power supply. It is compatible with 4 to 12-cell (4.8V to 14.4V) Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery packs ranging from 50mAh to 3000mAh capacity. 
The unit features both fast and trickle charging modes, with an adjustable charge current from 0.25A to 6A. Safety features include automatic Delta-peak cutoff to prevent overcharging, output reverse polarity protection, and a maximum charge time safety cutoff.
