Trifari Alfred Philippe "Trade Winds" Necklace | 1954 Pat Pend (173,375) Pearl Rhinestone
This exquisite Alfred Philippe polished gold tone oval link and simulated pearl necklace by Trifari is named "Trade Winds". The pearls and rhinestones are pave set in a golden toned Trifanium. The hook and tail fastener allows the length to be adjusted to fit comfortably.
Advertisement Info: It appeared in two different advertisements. The first was the 1954 Trifari advertisement "Her favorite Santa gives her Jewels by Trifari." The second advertisement features this collection exclusively (See photo).
Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this necklace was patent # 173,375 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Nov 2, 1954.
